Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to Lifna, a managed Drupal hosting platform provided by Lifna trading as Lifna. By using Lifna, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and, where Lifna processes hosted site data for you, the Data Processing Agreement.
Service
Lifna provides tools to create, host, back up, deploy, and update Drupal sites. The service includes live and non-production environments, platform URLs, deploy logs, security update workflows, backups, and account support. Some features are early-access or MVP features and may change as the platform matures.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate account and billing information.
- You are responsible for access to your account, including who you invite or authorise.
- You must keep credentials, API keys, SSH keys, and environment secrets secure.
- Lifna may block or suspend accounts that create security, billing, legal, or abuse risk.
Customer content and hosted sites
You remain responsible for the content, configuration, lawful basis, privacy notices, cookie notices, and user data in your Drupal sites. Lifna does not decide what personal data you collect from your site visitors or customers. You must not host content or services that are illegal, abusive, malware-related, infringing, or designed to attack or disrupt third-party systems.
Billing
- Development use may be free during the published free development period.
- The base live-site price is GBP 25.00 per month per live site, unless agreed otherwise.
- Billing starts when a live site uses a custom domain or when another paid feature is activated.
- Add-ons such as storage may be billed separately at the prices shown in the app.
- Stripe processes payment details. Lifna does not store full card numbers.
Backups, restores, and updates
Lifna provides backups and update workflows to reduce operational risk, but you should still check critical sites after deploys and maintain your own export or backup where your business requires it. Security updates may be prepared in a test environment for review before production approval.
Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep Lifna reliable and secure. We may perform maintenance, apply urgent security fixes, restrict abusive traffic, or temporarily suspend affected services where needed to protect the platform or hosted sites.
Security responsibilities
- Lifna secures the platform infrastructure, app, tenant routing, and hosting controls.
- You are responsible for lawful site content, admin users, custom code, third-party Drupal modules, and secrets you add.
- You must report suspected security issues to security@lifna.io.
Data protection
For account and billing operations, Lifna is normally a controller. For personal data inside customer Drupal sites, Lifna is normally a processor acting on customer instructions. The DPA describes the processing terms for hosted site data.
Termination
You may request account or site deletion from the app. Lifna may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, serious misuse, security risk, or breach of these Terms. Deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy and DPA.
Liability
Lifna is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lifna is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss caused by customer code or configuration, or loss caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless a mandatory local law gives you additional rights.
